I'm still a UX designer because I thrive on the drama. :-) Haven't you seen it in my case studies? They're filled with stories!
Jokes aside, I believe that every project has its unique context. Rarely do projects follow the ideal process. As a designer, I embrace the ever-changing scenarios and approach my work like a detective, diligently searching for, collecting, and examining data and evidence to inform my decisions.
I also see myself as a consultant, offering guidance to my team, especially when we're working under pressure. I make the most of available resources to deliver the best possible solutions for both users and the business.
